Pathfindr Pro legal

Consumer terms of service

Effective:
1 October 2026
Version:
2026-10-01.1

1. Who we are

Pathfindr Pro is operated by Metafour UK Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 01528556. Our registered office is 2 Berghem Mews, Blythe Road, London W14 0HN. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Metafour UK Limited.

You can contact us about the service, a cancellation or a complaint at support@metafour.com.

2. When these terms apply

These terms apply when you create or use a Pathfindr Pro consumer account, use the route-planning service or buy credits. You must be at least 18 years old. By activating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or over and agree to these terms and our Acceptable use policy.

Our Privacy notice explains how we use personal data. Our Cookies and device storage notice explains the technology used on your browser or device.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate account information, keep your password secure, and tell us promptly if you think an account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless it was caused by our failure to use reasonable care.

Pathfindr Pro may let account users work in a shared company workspace. Only upload, share or process information you are entitled to use, and make sure anyone whose information you provide has received any notice required by law.

4. The service

Pathfindr Pro helps users upload stop, depot and vehicle information; geocode locations; produce proposed vehicle routes and schedules; review plans on maps and charts; and export planning material.

Routes, distances, times and schedules are planning estimates. They are not live GPS tracking, traffic control, legal or safety advice, a guarantee of arrival time, or a substitute for a competent person’s review. You must check route suitability, vehicle restrictions, working-time requirements, access conditions, loading constraints and current road conditions before acting on a plan.

The service may rely on third-party mapping, postcode, routing, payment, hosting, email and AI services. Those dependencies can affect availability and results.

5. Credits and payment

Pathfindr Pro currently sells one-off prepaid credit bundles in pounds sterling through Stripe Checkout. It does not currently sell a recurring consumer subscription. The bundle price, tax treatment, number of credits and any applicable promotion are shown before you leave Pathfindr Pro for payment.

Credits are normally added only after Stripe confirms payment. Planning activity may reserve credits while work is in progress and charge the applicable amount when a run is completed. Unused reservations are released according to the service rules shown in the product.

Credits are not cash, cannot be transferred outside the service, and have no cash redemption value. A displayed expiry date applies to the relevant credits. We may reverse credits associated with a refund, chargeback, dispute, duplicate grant, fraud or payment reversal. More detail is in our Credits, refunds and cancellation policy.

6. Availability and changes

We aim to provide the service with reasonable care and skill, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may maintain, secure, improve, restrict or discontinue features. If a change materially disadvantages consumers who have unused paid credits, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice and an appropriate remedy where required by law.

We may update these terms for legal, security, operational or product reasons. We will make the current version available here and give reasonable notice of a material change where required.

7. Intellectual property

We and our licensors own the service, software, design, documentation and related intellectual-property rights. While your account is active, we give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose under these terms.

You keep ownership of information you upload. You give us permission to host, copy, process and transmit it only as needed to operate, secure, support and improve the service and meet our legal obligations.

Pathfindr Pro uses third-party open-source software and map data. Our Open-source licences and acknowledgements page identifies the mapping and routing components and their licence notices. The applicable third-party licences govern rights in those components and data; these terms do not restrict rights granted by those licences.

8. Suspension and ending access

You may stop using the service at any time. Contact support@metafour.com if you want help ending your account.

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, investigate suspected misuse, comply with law, address unpaid or reversed payments, or enforce these terms or the Acceptable use policy. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and give you a reasonable opportunity to put matters right.

9. Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights.

We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that was not reasonably foreseeable, that results from information or instructions you supplied, or that you could reasonably have avoided by following our guidance or reviewing a route plan.

The service is supplied for personal consumer use under these terms. We are not responsible under these consumer terms for business losses such as loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity or goodwill.

10. Complaints, law and courts

Please send complaints to support@metafour.com. We will try to resolve them fairly and promptly.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you also benefit from any mandatory protections of the law where you live and may bring proceedings in your local courts. Otherwise, the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. Your statutory rights are not affected.
